Un informe es un texto formal que relata de forma objetiva los
diferentes aspectos de un proyecto o estudio que se está realizando
sobre un tema específico. Un informe también puede plantear un problema y
proponer soluciones a tal problema.

El registro es siempre formal y el modo impersonal, lo que significa que se deben evitar fórmulas personales de tipo * I observe that..., Our recommendation is...y sustituirlas por It appears that... It is observed that... It is recommended that... X should be taken into consideration...( LEE EL APARTADO FRASES ÚTILES)
3. La estructura consta de un título o un encabezamiento ( To: From: Subject: Date:),una introducción en la que se expresa el objetivo del informe, diferentes apartados con o sin título en los que se presenta la información de forma lógica y clara, y una conclusión adecuada,
en la que se hace balance o se exponen las diferentes soluciones o se
hacen recomendaciones, dependiendo de la naturaleza del informe.
4. Esta presentación o layout es sólo para los informes. Antes de utilizarla en el examen, asegúrate de que lo que te piden es un report.
Ha habido más de un caso en que se pedía un "article" o un "essay" y
encontrarnos con una presentación más propia de un "report" que de un
artículo. Tal confusión podría suponer no aprobar el "writing" aun
cuando el texto esté muy bien expresado. Prepara un esquema utilizando frases útiles
