"Dumper than a sack of bricks" is an idiom. But, what's an idiom?  son frases hechas cuyo significado generalmente se deduce de la idea que transmite y no del sentido literal de la expresión. Equivalen a los refranes y modismos que utilizamos en español.

¡Sé que tú también eres un experto traduciendo expresiones de forma literal🙈! 

Sí, sí, sí no te hagas el sueco, don’t do the Swedish (“to play dumb”), sabes de qué te hablo. 

 Entonces, ¿Cómo se debería haber traducido "Dumper than a sack of bricks"?

Aquí le vamos a dar la vuelta a la tortilla, we "flip the omelette" (“to turn the tables”) y vamos a dejar de traducir de forma literal. Para ello vamos practicar algunos idioms, ya sabes que la práctica hace al maestro /practice makes you perfect!

    E.  no es exactamente un lumbreras o el más espabilado, que a alguien que es un poco tonto o corto.

    G.  irse de fiesta, "salir de marcha".🥳🎉

    H. ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️❗❗que algo es mentira, que no tiene ningún sentido, que es un disparate o una tomadura de pelo. Como podrás deducir es una expresión bastante vulgar, y que por tanto deberías reservar para momentos de emergencia.🚫 🚫 🚫 🙊🙊🙊🙊
